Pleasure Boats Activity
Our staff is highly qualified to provide, in collaboration with our official suppliers, professional and prompt assistance on place, technical consultation and emergency services on any type and size of yacht. We also guarantee complete management of refitting services.
In 2005 we signed a contract for the prototype construction of a coastguard’s motor patrol vessel. The design has been studied in all details and a huge amount of research has been made on materials and components so that they could be adapted to the boat’s peculiarity and to the rescue hard work conditions.
We also design and construct with special steel both canting and retractable keels, including the command and control hydraulic plant for high performance sailing boats such as Maxi Jena and Cometa.

PATENTS
ProPod
In 2006 Quaiat patented worldwide ProPod, a retractable forwarding propeller system, built to guarantee speed and high level sailing performances on professional boats. ProPod has been tested and then applied on the RC 44’s, the one-design sailing boats created by the three times America’s Cup winner Russell Coutts together with engineer Andrej Justin.

Container RC44
For the same boats, also a container has been patented. Its peculiarities are represented by its simple and practical use, which allows the boat’s assembly without the need of cranes and cradles. Also, with this structure the boat can be carried and transported in an ISO standard dimension container, thus reducing transportation costs.
